The general purpose industry standard for contractors, water authorities, municipalities and oil companies, the Oasis Sykes GP range has evolved from over 25 years of heavy duty oumo manufacture. Specially designed for arduous applications, the Oasis Sykes GP200 and GP200M pumps are typical of the range, utilisingtried and tested components, selected to insure maximum reliability. Used wherever there is a need for positive self-priming the GP200 and GP200M incorporate the unique Oasis Sykes vaccum system, enabling the pump to prim and reprime fully automatically from dry, and operate with suction intake intermittently exposed to atmosphere. Provided with either Lister Or Iveco diesel engines as standard, the impeller is mounted on a large diameterpump shaft with heavy duty bearing arrangemt incorporating a roller bearing at the drive end and a heavy duty thurst bearing at the other. The reduced overhang between bearings and impeller means less shaft deflection and no problem with out of balance forces.
